Ti' Punch
Mauritius’ version of a Daiquiri. “Ti’ Punch” is short for “Petit Punch” in French, still one of the main languages used on the island. Ti’ Punch is the traditional and most common way Mauritians drink their rum.
Ingredients
2 oz Passion Fruit Rum
1 oz lime juice
3/4 oz demerara sugar syrup
1 lime wheel garnish
Method
Shake with ice and double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lime twist or wheel. For extra flair coat the rim with demerara sugar.
